    @Sun Walker by the way, in your refresh API code snippet above, you don’t need to check for if (!session), cause either that function will throw an error, or will return a session object. It will never return false or undefined or another other “falsy value”

    Hey @rp also, my Request object in express doesnt have a .session key, so req.session is giving a typescript error

    yea that's cause express's req object is not supposed to have any session object in it - so the typing will not allow for that. You can change the type of req to be
    any
