I see that there is a flutter package for supertokens. Is this still supported?
r
Hey! It’s outdated. We intend to work on it, but not anytime immediately.
p
Understood. Thank you for the update!

Just following up on this as I'm now working on a flutter project and talking to the team about using supertoken for all projects we do for authentication. 1. Anything progressed on this? 2. Is this something our team could look at updating?
r
1. We haven’t made any progress on this yet.
2. Sure. You can checkout how the supertokens-website or supertokens-android SDK works and create PRs to update it. We would appreciate any contributions 🙂

Hi, I am implemeting a auth system for an app that seems to will be a millions of users, we are development on Flutter, it's support already enabled?
r
Hey @nkshah2 can help here
n
Hi @jsaezdue, So using our frontend SDKs is actually optional. You can use our documentation to integrate with the backend SDK and then refer to this page (https://supertokens.com/docs/emailpassword/custom-ui/handling-session-tokens#if-not-using-our-frontend-sdk) to handle the session tokens on the frontend yourself. That being said, we are already working on an official Flutter SDK but its still about 2-3 weeks away
r
1-2 months away *
j
Well, I can wait for that, can you alert me when Flutter SDK release?
r
You could open an issue about this on our GitHub and you will know when it’s released
n
We also announce releases on the #832603690653188126 channel
j
