Didn't want to make a help topic for this... But regarding the last announcement. Please tell me you used native JS web components/elements with the pre-built UI and are not shipping the entirety of React to be used in non-React projects 😅

Hey. At the moment it is with react. Using web components is planned, but it’s a huge project. So this is a stop gap solution. React is only loaded on the auth routes though. So it’s similar to if you used a hosted solution and that hosted solution used react.

oh btw, if you're into web components @ThrownException, I have some videos coming up on exactly that - SuperTokens with web components. I'll open source that too. You might be able to build something off of it before we do a full lib.

Haha thanks, tbh I'm using custom UI anyways, but I just have a small grudge against React because it freaking appears everywhere 😅 And not just because it's popular, but also because there's something about the framework that encourages it...

I feel you too, ThrownException. Lowkey keeping my eye on Go + HTMX. But now isn't the best time for me to explore that yet.
