Hey there, is there a way to autostart supertokens on ubuntu? After restart it's not automatic
r
hey @ricardas4658 use docker and run that in restart always mode
r
hey, i am not using docker 🙂
r
right. Then there should be a way to configure ubunutu to run commands on startup. You can google this. It's sort of out of scope for us here
r
alright, thanks, thought maybe you had something
d
hey @ricardas4658, maybe look into systemd
can you give me some more details about your use case? I might be able to help along
r
Hi @Darko I have simply installed in on EC2, I don't want to deal with Docker. And sometimes server restart is needed for updates, etc. I just need supertoken would boot up without me SSH into EC2 everytime to start it.
d
I see
yeah
so, systemd
second answer will point you in the right direction
basically, you want a system-wide systemd config
those (usually) don't require a user to ssh to the server to start it
