Is the bot and spam detection only for detection and reporting or can it operate in a deflect and fail2ban type operation?

There is no API yet to review past results, but you can always store that in your own backend since all block events / decisions happen via the backend sdk.

You can use it for self hosted too, but it is paid nonetheless, and it queries our hosted APIs.
