Hi friends! I have found myself in a pickle. I'm trying to get a development enviromnent up and running for a React Native android emulator to work with our hasura/nestJS backend. The problem is that the hasura headers, where we attach the user-id etc, arrives empty when using the android emulator. Have anyone experienced this before? EDIT: We are using apollo for the requests When using IOS/iphone emulator everything works as expected. //sincerely Axel

hey @Axel
@nkshah2 can help here
a
hi! thanks!
n
Hey just to rule it out, would it be possible to test with a physical device for Android?
a
Ye i am actually trying to do that now
at least i know that i have contact witha physical device and our hosted dev backend
its when its a local environment that the problems occur
n
Does the emulator work when working with the hosted backend?
a
that one i havent tested actually
n
Would be worth trying it to make sure its the emulator and not the local setup
a
I think i give up on android for now. I can test toward the cloud. It can be enough for now
Ran into other problems when i tested with device
and that seemed to be bugs in RN
so i might come back at another time, when its not friday and i want to solve the problem
n
