Hi Supertokens folks, I'm unclear on 2FA SMS implementation/pricing. Does the hosted version have SMS builtin? I think I read somewhere that if self hosted one would bring their own Twillio account, am I correct? Is it possible to do a hybrid approach where it is self hosted but uses the Supertokens hosted API for SMS 2FA?

This is possible. You can sign up on supertokens and create an instance of the core on any region. And then you can deploy a production instance as well and you will see the SMS API key. You can use that for your self hosted core and it will work. Just ignore the connectionURI of the managed service core 🙂
SuperTokens is an open source authentication solution offering features like: Different types of login: Email / password, Passwordless (OTP or Magic link based).
