02/25/2023, 11:27 AMjust wanted to leave feedback that "automatic account linking" is a fairly important feature for a good UX that is simply expected by users, and should not be in the "paid"/enterprise-only category of features -- it's great to create incentives for your users to consider paying more/upgrading etc, but this is not a feature to do this with, unless there's a clear path for users to achieve the same result with a little more manual work or something and/or some version of time-gating a feature to be enterprise-only while still in beta and then enabling it for all paid accounts + open source once it hits stable

02/25/2023, 2:28 PMWhilst I understand your point, we feel that something like account linking isn’t an absolute standard. There are tons of sites that implement account deduplication instead in which users are shown an error if they choose another login method with the same email
